John J. Stanton Jr.

John J. Stanton, age 82, died on January 4, 2018 at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jack was born in Chicago on October 4, 1935, and was the son of the late John Stanton and Helen McKinney Stanton. He was the brother to the late Helen M. and is survived by his loving sister Mary Moran, brother-in-law Howard Moran, his loving business partner and his best friend Jean Woods. The Moran family wishes to express our love and deep appreciation to Jean Woods for all her tender loving care for Jack during his illness. Fond uncle to nine, Mickael, Patricia, Peggy, Katy, Kevin, Molly, and Tim and the late Tommy and Danny. Great uncle to 12. He attended Loyola Academy and played on the championship basketball team of 1953. He had an extensive Manufactured Home Business in Las Vegas, Nevada with his business partner, Jean Woods. Jack served in the National Guard for seven years.

Visitation will be at 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM at Davis Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6200 South Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV. Followed by a mass at 11:00 AM, at St. Viator Church, 2461 East Flamingo Road followed by burial at Davis Memorial Park.
