In Loving Memory of
Jose Carlos “Carlitos” Magaña

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Jose Carlos “Carlitos” Magaña, who entered into the presence of the Lord on June 26, 2026, at the age of 36. Though our family grieves this unimaginable loss, we are forever grateful for the time God blessed us with him and for the countless memories he gave us—memories that will forever live in our hearts.

Carlos was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, family member, and friend whose love knew no limits. He had a smile that could brighten any room, a heart full of compassion, and a way of making everyone feel welcomed. Daniel remembered that Carlos never judged anyone. Instead, he accepted people for who they were, treating everyone with kindness, understanding, and unconditional love. To Daniel, Carlos was a force of nature—someone whose presence could never be ignored and whose spirit left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. Above all, Daniel described his brother as pure love, a man whose heart reflected compassion, grace, and the unwavering love he so freely gave to others.

To his siblings, Carlos was much more than a brother—he was their best friend, protector, confidant, and constant source of love and strength. As Sal so beautifully said:

“I am my brother’s keeper. I always tried my hardest to take care of him. Carlos was the best thing that could ever happen to someone as a brother. I will never forget the memories we shared together from childhood into adulthood, and I will carry those memories with me forever.”

Those simple yet powerful words capture the bond Carlos shared with his siblings—a love rooted in loyalty, sacrifice, and always being there for one another. That unbreakable bond will forever remain one of the greatest legacies he leaves behind.

Carlos faced life’s challenges with remarkable courage. Crystal remembered that no matter what he faced, he always came off strong, a person filled with love and with so much faith. Brandon admired the wisdom Carlos freely shared, stating that he was a man of God. He remembered that Carlos had a way of making everyone feel a sense of warmth and belonging whenever they were around him. To Brandon, Carlos was strong, smart, and truthful—a man whose character reflected the values he lived by and whose presence brought comfort to those who knew him. Jonathan shared that Carlos was always a real one—someone who never pretended to be anything other than himself. Through every season of life, Carlos remained loyal, genuine, and someone you could always count on. They shared countless memories, laughter, and life lessons that Jonathan will forever carry in his heart. Standing side by side through life’s highs and lows. Jonathan finds comfort in knowing that a part of Carlos will always live within him, because the love they shared, the memories they created, and the unbreakable bond they built can never be taken away.

To Sonia, Carlos had one of the purest hearts she had ever known. Although life was not always fair to him, he never allowed hardship to change the goodness within him. He continued to walk with his head held high, wearing his beautiful smile, encouraging others with words of wisdom, and sharing the Word of God with anyone willing to listen. Above all, Carlos’ relationship with God was the foundation of his life. As his mother, Maria, lovingly shared, his faith was everything to him. He loved the Lord wholeheartedly, and his life reflected God’s love through his humility, compassion, forgiveness, and unwavering hope. His greatest desire was for others to know the love and grace of Jesus Christ. Con el amor de una madre, María recordaba que desde antes de su nacimiento supo en su corazón que Dios tenía un propósito para la vida de Carlos. A pesar de todas las pruebas y adversidades que enfrentó, nunca dejó de confiar en el Altísimo y en su amado Hijo, Yeshua. Con la esperanza puesta en la promesa de Dios, ella no le dice adiós, sino: “Hasta luego, hijo mío. Siempre estarás en mi alma, en mi corazón y en mi espíritu.”

Carlos leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, strength, wisdom, and family. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing he is now at peace in the presence of his Lord and Savior. His memory will continue to live on through the lives he touched and through the family who will forever carry his love in their hearts.

He is lovingly survived by his devoted mother, Maria; his cherished son, Carlitos; his brothers Daniel, Sal, Brandon, and Jonathan; his sisters Crystal and Sonia; along with his nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends whose lives were forever blessed by knowing him.

Our beloved Jose Carlos “Carlitos” Magaña will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. His life was a testament to faith, compassion, resilience, wisdom, unconditional love, and devotion to those he held dear. May his memory continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.
