Joseph Anthony “Joey” Villareale, 38 years old of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on 9/12/24 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Joey was born at the old St. Rose de Lima Hospital on July 9, 1986. He was the son of Christopher Villareale and Suzanne Jacot-Villareale. Joey graduated from Palo Verde High School in Las Vegas. He was an entrepreneur and versed in many artistic endeavors. One of his passions was marketing fashion forward attire, foot apparel and accessories. The ocean was his home as well as the outdoors, anytime it was possible he would enjoy the Pacific Ocean in California with his board, wetsuit, fins and snorkel gear. He was a great athlete and loved to ride his skateboard and help young people who were learning. Extreme sports fascinated him, and he would enjoy watching and keeping up with his favorite participants, as well as sharing sporting events with his friends. Joey had a great memory and could share facts and information that he had learned by himself through audio sources. Music was something he enjoyed at every moment; at one time he wrote a paper that he was very proud of that expressed how music was a means of therapy that would benefit the recipient. He was a very compassionate man and made sure those around him and sometimes complete strangers were taken care of. He is survived by his dad, Christopher Villareale, mom, Suzanne Jacot-Villareale, and stepmother, Nadine Villareale. He is also survived by his sister, Vanessa Brown and brother-in-law, Darrell Brown, Jr., stepsister, Vanessa Lowden, as well as his “brother”, Benny Madueno. He is survived by his aunts, Amy Villareale, Laurie Kinner and uncles Daniel Jacot, Tony Ewing and Don Kinner. He is also survived by his cousins, Ashley Hardy, Gabriella Kinner, Madison Hardy and Zachary Hardy. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Rev. William Kenny officiating. Burial will follow at Davis Cemetery on Eastern Avenue. Pallbearers will be Daniel Jacot, Zachary Hardy, Garrett Beller, Benny Madueno, Eddie Madueno and Valente Madueno. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to our treasured friends who were so supportive at this time.
