Josephine “Jo” or “Josie” Lemberg, 91 of Las Vegas, NV, born in the Bronx, New York on November 11, 1932, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening December 6, 2023. Josie grew up in the Bronx with her parents Eva and Morris Korn and her sister Rita. She married Fred from Brooklyn, NY and they raised 3 children in the New York area. Later, they moved to Las Vegas. Josie worked at Neiman Marcus at the Fashion Show Mall until she retired. She loved meeting people and working in retail. In retirement, she enjoyed knitting for all her grandchildren and meeting people from the New York area and reminiscing.
Josie is survived by her 3 children Bonnie and her husband Frank of South Glastonbury, CT, Larry and his wife Cindy of Las Vegas, NV and Howard and his wife Julia of California. She also leaves behind 4 grandchildren Michael, Daniel, Skye and Allie and 6 great grandchildren Levi, Henry, Gabriel, Avery, Issac and Jamie.
A special thank you to all of her caregivers at Sanctuary Group Home. She loved how kind and caring you were to her.
The funeral service will be held on December14, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6200 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas.
