Judy K Fregin

November 1, 1948 — September 26, 2025

Las Vegas, Nevada

Judy K. Fregin, lovingly known as GG, passed away peacefully in her home in Las Vegas, Nevada, on September 26, 2025, after a courageous battle with dementia. She was born on November 1, 1948, and lived a life filled with love, laughter, and resilience.

For over 20 years, Judy dedicated herself to her career at Williams Costume Company, where she not only served as a manager but also showcased her incredible talents as a costume designer and seamstress. Her creativity and flair were only matched by her unmatched humor and sharp wit. Judy had a talent for turning the mundane into something extraordinary, and her sense of sarcasm always brought joy to those around her. She was smart and fierce, particularly when it came to her family, whom she loved deeply and without reservation.

A proud veteran, Judy served in the U.S. Air Force for four years before continuing her commitment in the Air Force Reserve. Her strength and dedication extended beyond her military service and into every aspect of her life, and those who knew her were continually inspired by her unyielding spirit.

Judy leaves behind a loving family, including her devoted daughters, Mariah Kissel and Deirdre Renfro, who will carry forward her legacy of love and laughter. She was a cherished grandmother to Katelin, Jacob, William, Robert, Allyson, Victoria, and Jordan, and GG to Ethan, Wesley, Aria, Amaya, and Carson, all of whom will remember her not only for her sharp humor but for the compassionate love she gave so freely. Judy is also survived by her brother, Hank Williams.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Fregin, whose memory remained etched in her heart. Their love story was one that inspired all who witnessed it, a testament to enduring affection.

As we remember Judy, let us celebrate the warmth she brought into our lives and the profound impact she made on everyone she encountered. Her legacy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be missed dearly, but her spirit will forever live on in the laughter and love she so generously shared.
