Obituary

Justin passed away, leaving behind a life defined by generosity, curiosity, and a deep commitment to helping others grow. He was someone who believed in the power of stories-not just to entertain, but to heal, guide, and move people forward in their lives.

Justin was an avid gamer who found joy in immersive worlds and the connections built within them. He was also deeply involved in volunteer and charity work, consistently showing up for others and dedicating his time and energy to causes that mattered to him. Helping people wasn't something he did occasionally-it was a core part of who he was.

For more than 35 years, Justin was passionate about bowling, a lifelong pursuit that reflected both his love of friendly competition and the communities he built around shared experiences. He also had a creative side as a screenwriter, using storytelling as a way to explore ideas, emotions, and human growth.

Travel and roller coasters brought him excitement and wonder, and he never lost his appreciation for experiences that made life feel bigger and more alive. Above all, Justin was a storyteller. He believed deeply in growth through honesty and shared experience.

In his own words, he once said:

"I love storytelling and I've gone through a lot of personal growth... If I can help one person move their life forward I've done my job."

That belief guided him. Whether speaking to large audiences or connecting one-on-one, Justin's goal was always to help at least one person take a step forward in their life.

Justin is lovingly remembered by his family, both those who have passed and those who continue to carry his memory forward. He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Ward; his grandparents, Bay and Mabel Ward and Jack and Neva Fickies. He is survived by his mother, Neva Waite; his stepfather, Tom Waite; his stepmother Kandy Ward; his grandmother Donna Middleton; his sisters, Amanda Ward and Calie Ferguson (Jeremy), Kim Hayward (Ken); his brothers by blood, Craig Middleton (Stephanie), Scott Waite (Kariss), Todd Waite; and his brothers by choice, Christopher Keyser and James Russell; He is also remembered by loving family friends, Dawn Hall (James); Ashley Johnson, Andrew Amick, Patrick Rothwell, Trevor Coen, and his many beloved nieces and nephews. Justin's family was an important part of his life, and he shared lasting bonds with each of them, leaving behind a legacy of connection, love, and shared memories that will continue to live on through them.
