Katherine Maria Grant

Katherine Maria Grant passed away peacefully April 15, 2025 at the age of 81.

She had been a long time resident of Las Vegas, Nevada. Born and raised on Long Island, New York, she met her husband, Larry and moved to Las Vegas in 1996.

Katherine was one of the kindest, most generous souls to walk this earth. Always willing to give a hand, her generosity knew no bounds.

Through her many choices of careers-a nurse, minister, marriage counselor, and a pilot her love for family, friends and animals knew no bounds. She loved learning, reading, enjoying an evening out with friends, and spending time with family.

One of her favorite passions was traveling with her beloved husband Larry(predeceased). Their travels took them all over the world, including many trips to Canada to see the family. She did truly live life to the fullest. Although her time on this earth has ended, she will live in our hearts forever.

Katherine is survived by her loving companion Cado the dog, her friends Patricia and Christy of Las Vegas, Patricia of New York, Heather Renaud ( sister by choice), Jeff Renaud, Lisa ( Brent ) Roy, and numerous extended family in Canada.

Predeceased by her husband Lawrence Grant, her mother Anna and father Otto Kruse.

A special thanks goes to Vanch from La Chateau for her amazing care of Katherine and to Nancy for taking such special care of Cado.
