Kyu Jin
Lee
Oct 10, 1954 — Jul 7, 2026
Las Vegas, Nevada
The Great Kyu Jin Lee, 71, passed away on July 7th 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada. His spirit journeys on to the next realm.
He was born October 10th 1954 in Seoul, South Korea, as the youngest of six to parents Bo Young Lee and Ok Soon Lee.
The family immigrated to America in 1980, where they settled in the tropical metropolis of Chicago, Illinois. He met his soulmate in January 1982, and by April, they were married. His children, the equally great Andrew and Sandra, were born shortly thereafter. He was proud of how they turned out; constantly remarking about how handsome/beautiful they are, amazed at how hard they work, the list goes on, but this isn’t about them, so let’s bring it back to Kyu Jin.
He always enjoyed life to the fullest, and he loved doing it with his entire family: his brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces, wife, children, all of them. But navigating the American dream wasn’t always easy for Mr. Lee. He worked hard, and put in long hours for his family, giving them all a chance at a life worth living. He always put family first.
At the age of 50, he and his family relocated to Las Vegas. After decades of hard work and responsibilities and living life the way he was supposed to, he was now able to focus on living a life that he WANTED to.
He played golf all year round. He took a serious interest in photography. He journeyed to and photographed Zion, Yosemite, the Grand Canyon, and countless other national parks and destinations that he used to marvel at whenever he saw pictures of them. He explored much of the west coast whenever he wanted to. He attended the Youtube Culinary School and trained his inner Chef — his steaks were absolute perfection. In the last decade or so, he and his wife traveled to over ten different countries, some of them multiple times. Most people never do that in a lifetime, but then again, most people aren’t Kyu Jin Lee.
He was a wonderful husband and father, a great friend to many, and an incredible brother and uncle to some of the best people to ever walk this Earth. He is survived by his beautiful wife, Jennifer, and his two genius children, Andrew and Sandra.
We will remember and honor him at his memorial from 2pm-4pm on Friday, July 31, 2026. Services will be held at Davis Funeral Homes & Memorial Park at 6200 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119.
