Lauren Vargas, 34, beloved Daughter and Granddaughter, was called to her eternal resting place on August 6, 2026. She entered this world on January 26, 1992 in Hinsdale, IL, born to Luis and Laura Vargas. She is survived by her beautiful 2-and-a-half-year-old daughter, Candid Rose; father Luis Vargas; Grandmother Celia Vargas; her Stepmohter Denise Avila; Godmother Aunt Judy; Aunt Mary; Uncle Larry, Cousins: Bob, Jason, Stephanie, Heather, Mark, Kevin, Melinda, Carlos, Sara, and Danny. A memorial service will be held on September 4th from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home.

Lauren grew up in Oakbrook Terrace and did not have siblings. She attended Shwarts Middle School and Willowbrook High School, where she graduated. Lauren was always very outgoing as a child growing up and well into her adult years. She had a passion for writing and enjoyed reading as well. Lauren played the violin from 7th grade into high school. She earned a spot as first chair in one of her many concerts that she played in. She enjoyed listening to music as well. Throughout her life, she couldn't help being silly and witty. As a child, she would always make her cousins and friends laugh with her silly and funny made up songs and skits. As a family, we enjoyed summer trips to the lake in Michigan where our best friends family owned a cottage by the lake. We also enjoyed camping trips along with fishing trips to nearby state parks. When Lauren was 19 her mother, Laura, passed away from complications due to cancer. A devastating loss for both of us. Lauren will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
