Linda Cassidy

Linda Chaimee Cassidy, 71, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2022, in Henderson, Nevada, surrounded by her loving family and dearest friends. Linda was diagnosed with stage 4 lung and brain cancer and had a strong courageous battle for 2 years.

Linda was born in Mauritius to Chan Tai Mui and Lee Shan Ok on September 9, 1950. Linda attended an all-girl school in London as a young girl. She was a nurse at Wellesley Hospital in Toronto, Canada in 1975.

Linda is preceded in death by the love of her life Steven Cassidy, her parents, and her siblings: Chai Siong, Peter, and Luk.

Linda is survived by her sons: Marcus and Christopher, her brothers and sisters: Paul, Michael, Gilberte, Chantal, Cecile, Jacqueline, Alain, and Cyril, and her granddaughters: Liliana, Ellie, and Brielle.

Linda was known for her energy, her contagious smile that lit up a room, and her laugh. She was an amazing friend and kept in touch with many friends throughout her life. She was a motherly figure to not only her children but to many of her closest friends and family members.

The viewing will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 2-5 pm at Davis Funeral Homes at 6200 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Funeral services and burial will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022, at 9:20 am at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
