Marcus Zavala 54, beloved Husband, Son, Father, and Brother was called to his eternal resting place on March 9, 2023. He was born in Caldwell, Idaho on June 18, 1968 to Herminia Zavala and Guadalupe Zavala.
He is survived by his wife, Ana; children Marcus Jr. Zavala, Celina Zavala, Asalia Zavala, and Santino Zavala; his grandchildren; Aaron, Dorothy, Sophia, Christopher, Oliver, and Santiago; his mother Herminia Zavala; his sisters, Janie Balista, Leticia Pitts and Linda Lyons; his brother Ismael Zavala; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He worked over 30 years in the casino restaurant industry as manager and director. He was loved and respected by many. He inspired and changed so many lives. His hard work ethic was matched by no one. There was nothing he didn't know about the restaurant industry. His knowledge and skills built many restaurants and businesses. More than that it was his generous spirit, love, integrity, and strength that will be missed. He loved to read Captain and the Kings and Call of the Wild . His favorite movies were Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? , and Snatch He loved to listen to Tom Petty's Won't Back Down . He was a rambunctious child, high spirited, always on the go. He was a protective big brother and a dearly loved little brother. He loved to spend time with his family, camping, cooking and traveling. Family was everything to him, he was the patriarch, the lighthouse that guided his family. Our lives are forever changed, he was fiercely loved and will be greatly missed.
