Maria
Holland
May 14, 1959 — Jun 21, 2026
With profound sadness and unwavering love, we announce the passing of our beloved Maria Holland, who was called home to Heaven on Father’s Day, June 21, 2026, to be with our Heavenly Father. Though our hearts grieve her absence, we find comfort in knowing she is now embraced by God’s everlasting love, free from pain, and finally at peace.
Maria lived life with joy, resilience, and an open heart. She loved to dance, laugh, enjoy delicious meals, spend time by the ocean, appreciate the beauty of the outdoors, and create lasting memories with the people she loved. She especially cherished every opportunity to be with her sisters and family, believing that time together was one of life’s greatest gifts.
Above all, Maria treasured her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, partner, aunt, and friend whose kindness, generosity, and unconditional love touched countless lives.
Maria was strong. She was a fighter. Through every challenge life brought her, she met it with courage, faith, and determination. She showed us that even in the hardest seasons, there is still room to laugh, to dance, to enjoy a good meal, to spend time with the people you love, and to keep moving forward. Her life was a beautiful reminder to make the best of whatever life throws your way.
Maria is lovingly survived by her devoted partner, Nicanor Garcia; her beloved children, Jessica Villarruel and Jimmy Saldana; her grandson, David M. Saldana; her precious great-granddaughter, Isely M. Saldana; along with her cherished sisters, extended family, and many dear friends who will forever carry her love in their hearts.
Although she is no longer with us, her legacy lives on in every song that makes us dance, every family gathering, every meal shared around the table, every laugh among loved ones, and every moment we choose joy. We will honor her by living with the same strength, faith, love, and resilience that she showed us every day.
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.”— Numbers 6:24–26
In the words she would always leave us with:
“Échenle ganas.”
