Michael R. Joncek

Michael Robert Joncek, 57, passed away on March 1, 2026.

Born on October 7, 1968, Michael lived a life marked by strength, dedication, and quiet kindness. He was someone who valued the simple things—time spent with loved ones, meaningful conversations, and the comfort of familiar places. Those who knew Michael will remember his steady presence, his sense of humor, and the way he showed up for others when it mattered most.

Michael was a devoted father and grandfather who took great pride in his family. He is survived by his daughter, Taylor (Joncek) Eskitgis and her husband, Jordan; his cherished granddaughter, Drew Eskitgis; and his daughter, Delaney Joncek. He is also survived by his brother, Bob Joncek and his wife, Cindy; his dear friend, Larry; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Michael’s life was defined not only by what he did, but by who he was: a loyal friend, a caring family member, and a person whose impact was felt deeply by those around him. He had a way of making people feel heard and appreciated, leaving lasting impressions on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.

He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A private remembrance will be held by those closest to him.
