Michael Elijah Kimbrough, affectionately known as "Murf", was born on January 16, 1984, to Sharon T. (Jones) Kimbrough and Elijah E. Kimbrough at Eglin Air Force Base, Ft Walton Beach, Florida. He departed this earthly life on Saturday, September 19, 2026. He was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, and friend.

Hailing from an Air Force family, Michael was raised throughout the world, from Texas to England, and currently resided in N. Las Vegas, Nevada. He attended Horizon-Morris Academy and graduated in the class of 2002. He also attended the College of Southern Nevada studying Management Information Systems. Michael was known for his outgoing personality, open heart, motorcycle skills, and his ability to fix anything with an engine. He had amazing artistic ability spanning tattoos, customizing motorcycles, cars, Lowrider vehicles, helmets-basically, any creative media. He served as a leader and active member of multiple motorcycle clubs and the community. His favorite character was Poppa Smurf; therefore, he adopted the name "Murf" and adopted the color Smurf blue as his trademark. Michael had an infectious personality and a natural ability to draw people to him. His energy, humor, and warmth could fill a room, and people simply enjoyed being in his presence. He was a resolute friend, motivator, and confidant.

Michael received Christ at an early age under the leadership of his mother & father at Carswell Air Force Base, Ft Worth Texas. He cherished his two beautiful children and loved family. He was faultlessly a protector and caregiver of those he held closest. He also took pride in his career as a Long-Haul HAZMAT Truck Driver. In addition, he held multiple CDL and OSHA Certifications.

He was preceded in death by Grandparents: Reverend Russell T Jones & Lina Jones: Elijah and Odessa Kimbrough of Knoxville, TN.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Son: Davion Booker and Daughter: Monica Kimbrough of Las Vegas, NV: Mother: Sharon (Jones) Kimbrough of Las Vegas, NV.: Father: Elijah Eric Kimbrough of Knoxville, TN: Brother: Jared Kimbrough (USAF) and Wife Rachel Kimbrough, nieces Amerie, Margot, and Isa Kimbrough of Woodbridge VA.: Sister: Breauna (Kimbrough) Dones of Kansas City, MO.: Grandparents: Willard A. Mostella and Minnie A. Jones of Knoxville TN., many devoted family members and friends too numerous to name.
