Michael Lee Loosbrock
October 3, 1964-July 7, 2023
Mike Loosbrock, who always lived life to the fullest, passed away July 7th in the evening in his home with friends nearby. Born to Thomas Lee Loosbrock and Joyce Marie Loosbrock on October 3, 1964 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He will be leaving behind his two children Casey Loosbrock(Juan) and Carson Loosbrock. He was the oldest brother of 3 siblings Michelle Fogarty(Ryan and Daniella, Jack, Maggie), Ben Loosbrock, Diane Chung(Jaimin, Maximus, Thomas).
Mike was a person who always lived in the moment. He had a warm heart and was always generous with his words and admiration. He had many friends that he liked to socialize with, and planted himself in Las Vegas for most of his adult life.
Mike came out as a redhead and maintained that personality throughout his life as a fiery personality to be reckoned with. As a young boy he traveled the world with his Navy Pilot father who got stationed all over the world. He attended more schools growing up and believe this is why he so easily engaged with so many people. He was always the oldest and the new kid on the block. He attended 4 high schools across 2 continents. He was a great athlete as a young man.
He was always smiling and had something to say about everything. He was known for arguing or “debating” as he liked to say, about his strong views on whatever was on his mind at the moment. Mike was always willing to engage with anyone in the room. I believe that was a Loosbrock trait he learned from his parents.
Mike was a loving and generous man. He was always willing to give or share what little he did have. Some of his best qualities were his positive outlook on life, his unique love for friends and family and his great sense of humor.
He was a Union Plumber and that kept him in Nevada and kept him close to his kids. He will be missed but he is in a better place. May he rest in peace.
