Michael John Overend

Michael John Overend, 66, of Henderson, NV, passed away on December 9, 2025 in Henderson, NV.

Michael was born in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph and Lorraine Overend on September 14, 1959.

Michael attended George Washington High School and DeVry Institute of Technology.

After graduating from DeVry, he moved to Los Angeles, California. In the mid 90’s he moved to the Las Vegas, NV area until his passing.

His passions were movies and everything 80’s, the Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago White Sox, the Raiders and everything Notre Dame. He loved his family and friends very much and will be missed very much.

Michael is preceded in death by both parents, Joseph and Lorraine Overend, sisters Vicky Lee Perez and Gloria Graefen, niece Susan Finlon.

Michael is survived by sister Sharyn (Richard) Sommers, brothers John (Paulette) Overend, Kevin (Becky) Overend, niece Kathleen (Oscar) Arteaga and many other nephews, nieces and cousins.
