Nancy Torres

Nancy Torres, 71, of Henderson Nevada, passed away on December 19th, 2022 in Las Vegas Nevada.

Nancy was born in Manhattan, New York to Julio and Hipolita Rosa on May 14th 1951.

Nancy was a self-employed accountant for a successful tax service company (ESP Tax Service), a company she and her husband (Ed Soto) built together. Throughout Nancy’s life she worked in several fields that were very rewarding for her. She worked in the fashion industry with a company of models (Glamour Models), she ran fashion shows in the Latin Salsa world.  Nancy was respected in the Latin music industry in New York as she coordinated sold out shows at Madison Square Garden and other venues, she was loved and respected by some of Latin music biggest stars such as, Tito Puente and Celia Cruz and others. She also worked with Luciano Pavarotti. Nancy also managed and was part owner of a very successful Latin dance club in Manhattan New York (Club El Morroco).

Nancy is preceded in death by her brothers Tito, Willie, and Julio, her mother Hipolita and father Julio.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Ed Soto, sons Carlos and Louis, granddaughter Yazmin (Bella), and step-children, Pete and Vianca. Nancy was a unique person who came into everyone’s life with a brightness and Love that was immeasurable. Her absence will be felt by many. Her spirit and Love will continue to live on.

The family will be holding funeral services at Davis Funeral Home, on Friday December 23, 2022 with visitation from 8:00 to 10:00 AM and Funeral Service to begin at 10:00 AM.
