Norma Finn-Pittman (maiden - Geither) 85, of Las Vegas, NV was promoted to glory to see her LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ on September 16, 2024.
Norma was born in Pittsburgh, PA on July 25, 1939. Her parents were Norman and Helen Geither.
Norma was raised in North Carolina and had a pet turkey, Spaghetti Eyes. Upon high school graduation she served in the US Army where she met her first husband, the father of their 6 children, Dick Finn; a Captain who wore the Green Beret.
She followed JESUS IN BELIEVER’s baptism and raised her children in the Christian faith. Often working while they were in school she was still at home providing gentle nurture and care to her family. Following the death of her first husband she married her cowboy, Justin Pittman.
Preceding her passing, she was pre deceased by her two husbands Dick and Justin, her son Sergeant Brian Finn US Army, and her sister Mary Helen Aeillo.
She is survived by her children Richard (Carol), Kevin, Scott (Crystal), Wendy Delahuerta (John), Tami Campbell (Zachary); her grandchildren Sarah, Alisha, Julie, Shawna, Stephanie, Rick, Joshua, Alysa Jo, Jake, Ethan, Brice; and her great grandchildren Connor, Lucy, Cheyenne, Miley, Yaretzi, Eliana, Nathan, Sofia, Melyna, and Cristian. Al King has been a supportive special fella in her life, we consider him family.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 21, 2024 at her place of worship, Gateway Baptist Church (1900 N.Gateway Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89115) with her Pastor David Ellis officiating. Attendees are encourage to stay for light food, fellowship, and to share stories and remembrances after the memorial service.
The family wishes to thank Gateway Baptist Church for Norma’s spiritual nurture and care. Also the staff of the caring compassionate people at both Sunrise Hospital and Nathan Adelson Hospice. They showed incredible love, compassion, and a beautiful expression of humanity to us and our mother during her final journey.
