Patricia S. Lucas (nee Collins), July 1, 1951 to November 8, 2025
Patricia was born on July 1, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois to Walter and Elaine Collins. The youngest of two children. Patricia grew up in the Chicago suburbs, graduating high school and attending nursing school where she received her B.S. in Nursing and spent the better part of her life attending to others. Her compassion and dedication touched countless lives throughout her years of service.
Patricia had quick wit and a heart full of love. She adored her dogs, Bear, Buddha, Chubbs, Ming and her last one. Zeus, all Shar Peis.
She married her husband, Richard L. Lucas in 1983, and together they raised their blended family of his children, Noel Lucas, and Dana Kocen (Lucas), with her daughter, Kristin Van Alstine.
Patricia and Richard moved to Henderson, Nevada in 2002, where she ran Rino Mart, a gas station and convenient store for the next ten years before retiring to enjoy her life with her family and pets. She loved playing video poker and to her friends and family she was known as "The Royal Flush Queen."
Patricia is survived by her husband, Richard L. Lucas, her daughter, Kristin Van Alstine, her stepchildren, Noel Lucas, and Dana Kocen (Lucas), and her brother, Tom Collins, of Prescott, Arizona.
Patricia passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, in hospice care. She was predeceased in her death by her parents, Walter and Elaine Collins.
There are no words to describe how much she will be missed by her husband and family.
Final interment will be November 21, 2025 at the Davis Mausoleum, with visitation at the Davis Funeral Home on November 20, 2025 from 3:00p.m. -7:00p.m.
