Patricia M. Turco, lovingly known as "Shorty" and "Aunt Ewok," passed away peacefully on September 15, 2026, at the age of 86.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on March 16, 1940, Patricia lived a life marked by hard work, devotion to family, generosity, and an unforgettable spirit. She was the eldest of three daughters and shared a lifelong bond with her beloved sisters, Barbara and Mary Ellen.

Patricia dedicated over 50 years of her career to Bank of Boston, where she was known for her strong work ethic and commitment to serving others. After retiring from banking, she continued doing what she loved most, helping people, by working in customer service at Treasure Island for nearly 20 years.

She was married to the love of her life, Leo Turco. Though their time together was too short, the memories they created remained close to her heart throughout her life. One of Patricia's greatest joys was dancing with Leo, a pastime she often reminisced about with a smile.

A proud Catholic, Patricia held a special devotion to Saint Anthony and found comfort and strength in her faith throughout her life.

Patricia was known for her feisty personality, quick wit, and generous heart. Her home was always welcoming, and no visitor ever left without being offered something to eat. She loved gathering with family and friends, playing bingo, and sharing stories. She adored the classic film The Sound of Music and could often be found singing along to her favorite songs. Patricia had a love for classic films, especially The Godfather series, which she enjoyed watching time and again. She appreciated its unforgettable characters, storytelling, and the family bonds woven throughout the films.

Travel brought Patricia great happiness, and among all the places she visited, Italy held a special place in her heart. Its beauty, culture, and connection to her heritage made it her favorite destination.

Patricia leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her sisters, Barbara and husband Walter (predeceased) and Mary Ellen; her nieces, Kelly and husband Dana, Michele and husband Chris, and Justine and husband Doug; and her grandnieces, Haleigh and husband Yerri, and Genevieve. She also leaves behind countless friends, neighbors, and extended family members whose lives were touched by her kindness, warmth, and generosity.

Patricia's family will remember her for her strength, her spirited nature, her unwavering love, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her legacy of faith, family, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
