Rafael Alberto Menendez

Thank you all for coming out friends and family. I know under these circumstances this is not how Rafael would want to us to meet his friends but everything happens for a reason. Rafael was a son, a father, a friend, and a great guy over all. I know you all have fond memories about him, because truly he was an awesome man. He was a hard worker and always give everything he had. We learned a lot from him. He showed my family we could count on him even though he was miles away. Always had jokes and stories to tell us. If you knew Rafael he was very excited for Dolphins to win the Super Bowl every year as every Miami person says every year! He showed kindness to others as well as respect. Rafael loved to travel and most of all he loved his 3 children Jose, Jessica and Samantha! He was a proud grandpa of 2 grandchildren,Alexander and Nicholas! He always had a smile when talking about his family! Even though he may be gone, he lives in our hearts and we all better be good because you don't when he'll be looking down on you ( wink)! Rafael associated himself with great people! The people that are here and the people who couldn't be here are all very lucky to have known Rafael. Papi you will be missed and you will have a special spot in our hearts. A beautiful soul who got taken to early from us. May you Rest In Peace
