Raul Estepa Matute

Raul Estepa Matute, 66 years old, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

Raul was born on May 1, 1959 in Manila, Philippines and spent his life as an engineer, stay-at-home father, and later, a real estate agent. He was an avid racquetball player until his myeloma diagnosis in 2018. Raul is known for his humor, kindness and generosity.

He is survived by Perlita Matute, his children, Tammy Pruitt and Rikka Flor Matute, and siblings Nestor Matute and Maria Valentin.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 16, 6:00pm at Davis Funeral Home & Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Health Tree Foundation for Multiple Myeloma (healthtree.org/myeloma).
