Robert Gehr

Robert Kenneth Gehr was born in Niagara Falls, New York on April 10, 1953, to Sara Elizabeth and Kenneth Theodore Gehr. He spent his first 24 years there, graduating from LaSalle High School in 1971. From there, he attended Niagara County Community College for two years before transferring to the State University of New York at Buffalo. There he earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in 1976.

In 1977 he moved to southern California, settling in Huntington Beach for a while. He never looked back! There he met Brooke Barker, whom he married in 1982. Shortly after, the happy couple moved to Chino, where they purchased a home. Bob worked full time as a retail Pharmacist, eventually assuming Pharmacist-in-Charge duties at CVS. Dachshunds were always Bob’s favorite pet, and he maintained one until health forced him to give it up. He also gave house room to a cat – after he could no longer manage the dachshunds. Bob was a master BBQ chef, frequently grilling this treat for the family. Bob and Brooke raised two sons, Ryan and Alexander, who sadly have passed away. Bob passed away in Henderson, Nevada, on April 11, 2024. No formal services are planned. Those who wish to leave a memorial should make a donation in Bob’s name to the American Heart Association.
