Robert Bradley Lewis

It's with a heavy heart that we share that Robert Bradley Lewis Sr ""PopLew"" passed on May 13, 2018 at home, in the arms of his best friend and wife Susan K Lewis. Brad was born on February 20, 1946 in Los Angeles to parents Simmeon ""Hap"" and Eileen Lewis. He proudly served his country 35 years 10 months 23 days. He met and married the Love of his life, Susan K Lewis, between two tours in Vietnam. They went on to have two children Vicki A. Lewis-Blansett (Lannie) and Robert Bradley Lewis Jr (Missy) and also adopted son Wesley L Childress. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Frank Lewis, aunts, uncles and a longtime family friend that recently passed, Cathy Stewart. He is survived by his loving wife, children, and six grandchildren: Alyssa Rae Blansett, Mariah B Childress, Morgan R Childress, Xander K Bowman, McKenna R Blansett, Emma F Lewis. Also Sister Judy Lipp (Bob), Brother Jim Lewis (Jonelle), Sister Deej Curry (Mike), many nieces and nephews, longtime friends Gary and Rose Ripel, along with numerous ""adopted"" kids. There will be a celebration of life on June 30th, 2018 at San Miguel community park from 1pm-4pm. We encourage friends and family to come out and join in celebrating and telling stories of this great family man.
