With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Robert F Nix, a beloved husband, stepfather, and cherished member of the community. Robert peacefully departed this world on December 25, 2023, in his hometown of Las Vegas, NV, at the age of 65.

Born on April 4, 1958, in California, Robert was the epitome of a compassionate and loving soul. He dedicated his life to helping others as a Maintenance Engineer in the commercial properties industry. With his vast knowledge and skills, he tirelessly worked to ensure that buildings were safe and well-maintained for countless individuals and businesses.

Robert's love for the great outdoors was boundless. He could often be found camping in the serene landscapes that enriched his spirit. His favorite pastime was spending quality time with his beloved grandchildren, whom he adored. Whether it was playing games, sharing stories, or embarking on exciting off-road adventures, Robert thrived in their presence.

Ever the handyman, Robert possessed a deep passion for fixing things. He took great joy in assisting friends and neighbors, lending a helping hand whenever something went awry in their homes. His kind-heartedness and unwavering dedication touched the lives of many, and his presence brightened any room he entered.

Robert's legacy of compassion, love, and laughter will forever be treasured by his devoted spouse, Jeanne Kennedy-Nix. Together, they shared a lifetime of cherished memories and a love that transcends time. Additionally, he is survived by his stepchildren Richard Kennedy, Billie Rimell, Samantha Kennedy, and Lee Rimell. Robert held a special place in his heart for his adored grandchildren, Jacqueline Kennedy, Katherine Kennedy, Thomas Burnette, and Parker Burnette. He also leaves behind his loving siblings, Carol Ryan, Michael Nix, and Beth Nix, each of whom holds memories of a lifetime spent together.

In accordance with his wishes, Robert will be laid to rest through cremation. This final disposition will take place at a location honoring his time dedicated to the U.S. Navy.
