Robert Rhodes

Robert Bob Rhodes, 82, of Henderson, Neveda. Passed away on May 28, 2025 at his home.

He was born in Minnesota and adopted by Marvin and Delia Rhodes on June 15th, 1942. After graduating high school he joined the Navy and proudly served 2 years. Afterwards, marrying Elizabeth Stadick and having 3 children; Kim, Paul and Karla. He had a love of music and was a DJ in New Ulm, Minnesota at KNUJ radio. At that time he was on a couple of bowling leagues. After 10 years of marriage, he and Elizabeth divorced and he married Fran Buttweiler and was with her until her death in 2010. Together they raised Fran's daughter, Shari. They both worked at the Sands Casino on the strip for many years. In his free time, he liked to ride his four wheeler in the desert, collect coins and he never lost his love of the sea and water. In years past he and Fran had a boat and enjoyed their time on and around lake Mead. He would go to auctions in search of treasures. His favorite thing was retelling old stories with family and friends, reminiscing about times gone by; some with tears or sadness, but most of them with laughter and joy. He also enjoyed a day of golfing with his buddies.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife Frannie Rhodes, Parents Marvin and Delia Rhodes, sister Diane Bullock, Son Paul Rhodes, Nephews Reggie Rhodes and Ryan Rhodes.

Robert is survived by his daughters Kim (Angelo) Minotis, Texas, Karla Rhodes, Minnesota, and stepdaughters Shari (Scott) Zeidler, Minnesota. Lindsey (Shawn) Nicholson, Nevada. Brother Jon (Carol) Rhodes, Minnesota. Nephew Tony (Anna) Bullock, Texas, Neice Tammy Bullock-Divine, Colorado Great neices Grace and Abigail Bullock, Texas, Katherine (Aaron) Harrelson, Maine, Corinne Divine, Colorado. Grandchildren Sam (Lanie) Rhodes,Texas, Lydia Rhodes, Texas, Alexis Minotis, Texas. Brayden Buttweiler, Minnesota, Wyatte Nicholson, Nevada, Easton Zeidler of Minnesota.

Funeral services will be held June 5th 1:00pm at Davis Funeral homes and Memorial Park-Eastern. 6200 South Eastern Avenue Las Vegas. NV. 89119.
