Robert David Stern

Robert Stern 88 of New York passed away on Sunday Aug. 19, 2018 in Las Vegas NV.
Robert was born in New York City on Sept. 30, 1929 to Jean Gordon and Morris Stern.
Robert graduated from Syracuse University in 1950. Attended Law School at NYU. He then joined the law firm and became partner
at Fink Weinberger Levin and Charney, (later on called Fink Weinberger Fredman and Charney.
His specialty was Real Estate and Wills and Trusts. In 1972 he took over a group of companies called Rudor Consolidated Industries.
The companies did printing services, and computer and office furniture sales. He also helped start a tech company that helped trained companies in the early stages of the Internet age.
In 1985 he became owner and publisher of
Dance Magazine untill 2001 when the company was sold. Robert was a board member of Parsons Dance. He was a fan of the arts and
the opera, especialy the Sante Fe Opera. He enjoyed skiing in Vermont and Utah, and tennis and sailing, and traveling the world.
Robert married Natalie in 1952. She was the girl next door. Then married Roslyne in 1978. Robert was a special person who was kind and loving to others, and loved his family.
Robert is survived by sons Mitchell and Bradley, Daughter in law Agnes, Grandchildren Brenna, Brett, Joeseph, and Kyrie, many cousins, and Step Daughter and Step son in-law
