Rodrigo Medina

Dr. Rodrigo D. Medina was 84 years old when he passed away Tuesday morning at 8:37 on May 26, 2022 at Nathan Adelson hospice in Las Vegas. He was born in the Philippines on August 9, 1937, the son of Justiniano Medina and Felicidad Delen Medina. He has joined his parents and his siblings: Kuya Mely, Ate Cleofe, and his Ate Perla to eternal life.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Adora Salazar Medina, 3 grown children: Marlon Medina, Myra Cooper, and Mabel Williams, and 7 grandchildren: Jessica, Tyler, & Jon Marlon Medina, Sinead & Seamus Williams, and Alexus & Ali Medina.

He graduated from University of Santo Tomás  Medical School in 1960. He wed his wife December 20, 1964. He immigrated to the United States in August 1969. His family joined him in 1970.  He was a family practice MD, who had his clinic at home in Walnuport, PA and also worked as an Emergency Room physician at Palmerton Hospital. He retired in Las Vegas.

He was a devout Catholic and had been a parish member at St Thomas Moore church for 22 years. Funeral service on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.  Viewing 11:30am - 1:30pm. Mass at 1:30pm, funeral entombment at 3pm at Davis Memorial Park.
