Ronald Jay Snider

Ronald J. Snider, 66, of Las Vegas, passed away on March 29, 2026. He was born on September 2, 1959, in Glendale, the son of Edith Eleanor Snider and Harvey Melvin Sargeant.

Ronald will be remembered for the meaningful life he lived and the many connections he formed along the way. He took great pride in his work and truly loved his jobs, valuing not only the work itself but also the relationships and connections he built throughout his career. He possessed a unique ability to understand and adapt to situations with insight and compassion. He was a dependable presence in times of need, offering support at any hour. Those who knew him will carry his memory forward with deep appreciation and respect.

Above all, Ronald was a devoted and loving father, whose guidance, strength, and unwavering support shaped the lives of those closest to him. He was also a natural leader, known for his integrity, wisdom, and ability to bring people together. He made others feel welcomed, valued, and included, and his presence will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Marie Hoban; his mother, Edith; and his father, Harvey.

Ronald is survived by his brothers, Larry and Ralph Snider; his son, Matt Snider; and his grandchildren, Jersie Snider, Memphis Snider, Caleb Cotton, Calvin Cotton, Kendra Cotton, and Bobby Hoban. He also leaves behind many cherished friends who will remember him with love and admiration.

A celebration of Ronald’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 2, at Davis Funeral Homes & Memorial Park, 6200 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor his life. Burial will follow at the same location.
