Randolph Lipscomb left his loved ones on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Las Vegas, NV. Randolph was born on December 29, 1939 in King William, VA to the late Lizzie W. and Herbert Lipscomb, Sr. Randolph had five brothers and two sisters, Benjamin Washington, Jessie Washington, William Washington, Herbert Lipscomb, Jr., Daniel Lipscomb, Mary Ann Taylor, Sadie E. Lipscomb, all who preceded him in death. One nephew and two nieces, Herbert Lipscomb, III, Deborah Lipscomb, and Rhonda Lipscomb also preceded him in death.
Randolph, also known as “Dumpy”, was a graduate of Hamilton Holmes High School in King William County, VA. He joined the U.S. Air Force after high school and served as a military police officer. Randolph always loved talking to his nieces and nephews on the phone for hours, especially Arnold, Louise, Jackie and Michelle. When Randolph retired from the military, he resided in Las Vegas, NV until his demise.
Randolph leaves to cherish his memory, a god daughter, Annette Wilson, a devoted nephew Arnold Lipscomb, two loving nieces Jacqueline Washington and Louise Lipscomb, and a loving great niece Michelle Light. Other nieces and nephews include Rita Dickens, Linda Vines, Brenda Mitchell, Lisa Lipscomb, Daniel Lipscomb, Jr., Titi Washington, Dwight, Carolyn, Cynthia, Keith, Arnick, and Jennifer Lipscomb. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
The Family wishes to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude for all prayers and acts of kindness during the passing of their loved one. A special thanks goes out to his god daughter, Annette Wilson for helping his out-of-town family with his arrangements. May God continue to bless you for all you have done.
