It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Rudolph Mason Davis Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada. He passed away July 27, 2025 at the age of 71.
He was born on February 10, 1954 in Havre de Grace, Maryland. Rudolph's Family settled in Lakewood, Washington, when he was a child. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1975 to 1979. He then became an officer of the court serving legal process as well a bounty hunting for 20 plus years. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1997 and worked for the Union Pacific Railroad as a freight train conductor from 2005 to 2025.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jacqueline R. Davis, His aunt Doris Cole, His children, Stephanie Scott, Lolita Davis, Nicole Davis, Aaliyah Mires, Rudolph Picard, Marques Smythe, and Giovanni Vincent Davis, 7 Grandchildren and 4 great grand children, His Sisters Patricia Lackland, Jacqueline Coleman and Denise Suggs, his brother Ronald, Bernard, and Terrence, many nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.
He is preceded by his parents, Rudolph Mason Davis Sr. and Marian Davis, His brother Michael Davis, and Charles Davis, His Children Dominque Davis and Bryanna Davis.
A Funeral service will be held on August 11, 2025 at 10:00 am at Davis Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 6200 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, Nevada 89119.
He will be remembered for his infectious smile that would light up the room and his stories of his colorful life, his jokes, and youthful pranks.
He will be profoundly missed by all.
