Ruth A. Phillips, of Las Vegas, passed away July 18, 2013. She was born June 17, 1948, to John and Dorothy Pikulin, in Canonsburg, Pa.
She was an instructional tutor at juvenile detention for 19 years.
Viewing and memorial services will be 911 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be Friday, July 26, at Jefferson Memorial Park in Pittsburgh.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents sons, Jason and Dean Baxter and stepdaughter, Kristen Phillips.
Ruth is survived by her husband, David sisters, Esther Urbas and Dorothy Dobrowski brothers, Dr. John Pikulin and Paul Pikulin a niece and nephews.
