Sasagi Fa'asulu was born on March 17, 1961 in Manu'a, American Samoa. Later on, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he spent the remainder of his life.

Sasagi grew up in Faleasao, Manu’a where he was baptized and raised by his grandfather. Sasagi received his formal education at Faleasao Elementary School and Manu’a High School. After graduation in 1979, he joined the United States Army and served for 3 years. Sasagi spent a lot of his time in Honolulu, Hawaii after the military and soon moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2001. He worked at The California Hotel & Casino as a Slot Machine Technician for 8 years. Sasagi was known for his outspoken personality and fighting spirit. He will always be remembered as someone who was always on-the-go ready to take on each day.

Sasagi Fa'asulu went on to be in heaven on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. Today we continue to celebrate the life he's lived and cherish all the memories we've shared with him.
