Shirley Green

Shirley Mae Green, a devoted wife, and loving mother passed away November 2, 2021, in her home in Henderson Nevada in the presence of her son at 8:35 am at the age of 85. Shirley had suffered a stroke from a blot clot that caused a cascading effect that led to aspiration and two rounds of pneumonia. She was born May 20, 1936, in Marshall North Carolina. She has been a resident of the Las Vegas area since 1983. She was preceded in death by her parents Paddie and Pearl Cody; her husband of 62 years, Gerald M Green, retired 21 years from the US Air Force, who passed away on October 11, 2017; and her sister Faye Clark of Marshall North Carolina. She is survived by her son, Garry M Green formerly of Houston Texas, and now a resident of Henderson Nevada; her granddaughter Michelle Kent and her family; great-grandson of Henderson Nevada; one sister from Miami Florida; many brothers and sisters-in-laws; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
