Thelma Sibayan, 80, beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on February 18, 2026.
She entered this world on January 28, 1946 in Bataan, Philippines, born to Ramiro and Adelaida Piega.
She is survived by her husband Luis Sibayan; daughter Cristina Pho; son-in-law Robert Pho; daughter Trisha Tan-Torres; son-in-law Glenn Tan-Torres; son Carlo Sibayan; daughter-in-law Jacqueline Rodil; grandson Justin Declaro; grandson Garrett Tan-Torres; granddaughter Grace Tan-Torres; granddaughter Reena Pho; granddaughter Tareesa Pho; grandson Xavier Sibayan; granddaughter Vanna Pho.
Throughout her life, Thelma cherished her Catholic faith, family, friends, education, reading novels, eloquent writing, church choir, religious events, bowling, basketball (Lakers), and Filipino news/teleseryes/entertainment on TFC. Some of her most memorable moments and achievements include establishing and nurturing her family legacy, earning a Bachelors Degree in Nutrition, service at Subic Bay Naval Base, emigrating to the US in March 1981, participation as a choir member for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, and 20+ years at Bank of America, promoted to and retiring as Assistant Vice President, Human Resources.
