Tuyen V Doan

Tuyen Van Doan, age 77, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on December 26, 1947, in Vietnam, Tuyen’s life was marked by resilience, devotion, and a deep commitment to those he loved.

He was the beloved son of Khu Van Doan and Mit Thi Hoang.

In 1975, Tuyen immigrated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he built a stable and respected career in the hospitality industry. In January of 1996, he married the love of his life, Huu Vuong, and together they created a life centered around faith, family, and devotion.

Tuyen’s memory lives on in the hearts of his family: his devoted wife, Huu Vuong; his daughter, Kimberly Mendonsa, and son-in-law, Treston Mendonsa; his brother, Phat Van Doan; and his sister, Man Thi Schacht.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Our Lady of La Vang Catholic Church, 4835 S. Pearl St., Las Vegas, NV 89121. Visitation and burial will follow at Davis Funeral Homes & Memorial Park, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM PST.

Tuyen’s legacy of steadfast faith will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.
