Jack Lowe

Jack was a resident of Las Vegas since 1961 and a member of Local Sheet Metal Union #88 for 63 years. Early in his career, he had the honor of working at the Nevada Atomic Test Site (Area 51). As a foreman with Southwest Air Conditioning, he worked on and oversaw the construction of many large commercial buildings, hotels, and government projects.

He loved bowling, fishing, gardening, music, genealogy, and dancing. He was a beekeeper for many decades, selling honey locally alongside his business partner Larry Robb. He was co-owner with Edward “Ted” Marshall of Perfecto Foods, a health food and food storage business. 

Jack was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 58 years. He oversaw the LDS Las Vegas, Nevada temple’s sheet metal and roofing installation.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia “Pat” Lowe, 6 children, 12 grandchildren (2 preceded in death), 8 great-grandchildren and brother Jerrell Lowe of Azle, Texas. The family is deeply grateful to the many kind caregivers for over 4 years of compassionate assistance and care. We also wish to thank Nathan Adelson Hospice.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel located at 375 N. Hollywood Blvd. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30am with memorial service at 11:00am.
