Vicki Jackson

Vicki Ann Winter Jackson passed away peacefully in Hospice Care on September 28, 2015 at the age of 65.

Vicki is survived by her two sons, Cory (Jennifer) Jackson of Lake Elsinore, CA and Ty (Maggie) Jackson of Henderson, NV and her four beloved grandchildren Zoe, Caleb, Macy, and Nico.

She is also survived by her sisters and brothers; Frosty (Mel) Brown, Lila (Don) Burnworth, Dennis Winter, and Darrell (Tracey) Winter. Vicki has close family & friends that will greatly miss her including aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents James & Fairie Belle (Shorten) Winter of Billings, MT, her partner, Alfredo Arreola of Las Vegas, NV and her dog, Cooper.

Vicki was born on January 20, 1950 in Red Lodge, MT to James & Fairie Belle Winter. She graduated from Billings Central Catholic High in 1968. After high school she moved to Denver, CO where she met her then husband, Ron, and had two children. The family moved to Rock Springs, WY and in 1992 Vicki and the boys moved to her home state of Montana. Her last 20 years were rooted in Las Vegas where she met her companion, Al, and they became life partners.

Vicki was an avid Denver Broncos fan and looked forward to Sunday games. She supported Cory & Ty throughout their countless sporting events; acting as team mom and #1 fan from t-ball to college football.

She enjoyed her career managing HR Benefits and met many wonderful friends along the way. Vicki worked for Sweetwater County Memorial Hospital in Rock Springs, WY and Deaconess Hospital in Billings, MT before moving to Las Vegas where she worked at the Golden Nugget Casino, Sora Management and most recently, Ameritas.

A memorial service is scheduled October 9th at 10am at Davis Funeral Home on S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Vicki's life.
