Born in Wichita, Kansas, Wallace was raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he grew up and built the foundation of the man he would become. He went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Navy for 23 years, retiring after a long and dedicated military career.

Wallace was a man who appreciated life in his own unique way. He had a knack for collecting the unusual, especially T-shirts with odd or funny sayings, and took pride in finding humor in the little things.
