Werner Jakob Hipfel

Werner J. Hipfel ""Vern"", 63, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on September 15, 2018 in Las Vegas.
Werner ""Vern"" was born in Los Angeles, California to Nikolaus and Maria Hipfel on January 24, 1955.
Vern attended La Habra High School, he lived in the fast lane when involved in street racing and motorcycle competitions; for a short period of time he worked in a Machine shop with his father; when he met his wife they had a precious daughter and to support his family he started a business. In his last 20 years he provided commercial building maintenance services.
Vern is survived by his Wife, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, and Cousins along with several close friends.
Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on October 15, 2018 in the Chapel at Davis Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas NV 89119. Flowers are welcome, but not necessary or a donation to the NHRA Museum. National Hotrod Association website is: NHRA Museum.org under Donations. It is a 501(c)(3) organization.
