Alexis Brown, was called to heaven on May 13, 2020 at the age of 53 in Las Vegas, NV.

Alexis was born in the Bronx, NY to Margaret Craig and Jerry Williams on May 16, 1966.

Alexis was raised in a loving home by her grandparents, Gloria Williams and Lyle Moffett, alongside her uncles Guy Williams and Andre Williams and Aunt Mia Williams.

Alexis was always passionate about learning and attended College of New Rochelle where she studied Sociology. She attended Elementary PS 6, Middle School IS 167 and Harry S. Truman High School in New York.

Alexis was an affectionate, loving person with an eternally youthful spirit. She had an extraordinary sense of humor, and radiant smile that could light up a room.

In 1993, Alexis met Wayne Brown whom she fell in love with in Omaha, Nebraska.

Prior to her union with Wayne, Alexis was blessed with the birth of her daughter Precious Gillmore.

Less than a year later, they were married, and have remained husband and wife for 26 years. Together, they had three children LaSean, Mecca, and Amir.

Alexis was an avid public speaker and used that combined with her wisdom to empower people in her community. She enjoyed helping  people bring the best out of themselves. Alexis had an exceptional eye for fashion and decorum. When it came to first impressions, she had a flamboyant personality, with style to match.

She was a devoted wife, and mother, and a spark of life that we'll all carry within us.
