Franklin Benjamin Cruz

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Franklin Benjamin “Frankie” Cruz, age 49 of Henderson, Nevada, who passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020. Franklin was born on February 12, 1971 in Tamuning, Guam to Fay Cruz. He graduated from Simon A Sanchez High School at Yigo, Guam.

Franklin started out working as a cook and discovered cooking was his passion. For over 30 years he worked as a chef in many restaurants and casinos in Las Vegas, Nevada. Franklin is survived by his mother, Fay Hooper, of Indian Springs, Nevada. His younger sisters and brother, Pamela MacDonald, of Chesapeake, Virginia, Lori Cruz and Johnny Cruz, of Dededo, Guam. As a beloved uncle he will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews Kianee Remy, Travis Remy, D’Andre Remy, Brianna Potts, Theresa Cruz, Logan MacDonald and Kara MacDonald, Sofia MacDonald, Jaxon Remy, and Benjamin Remy who all loved him dearly. Franklin will be missed by all who knew him and he will remain in our hearts forever.

A Remembrance and Farewell Ceremony will at 5:00pm, Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Davis Funeral Home on 6200 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, Nevada. All family and friends are invited to attend.
