A Short Life Story of The Late
Mrs. Hiwot Teclezghi Kifle
Hiwot Teclezghi Kifle was born in Merhano Central Region of
Eritrea on January 27th, 1969, to her father Teclezghi Kifle, and her
mother Letensie Tewoldemedhin. Hiwot completed her primary and
secondary school at Zeray Deres in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Hiwot went
on to graduate with a two-year diploma in Technical School, and after her
education, Hiwot moved back home to Eritrea in 1997 and worked with a
construction company in Asmara, Eritrea.
Hiwot Kifle immigrated at a young age to the USA city of Las
Vegas, NV in 1998. On June 28, 2000, Hiwot Teclezghi and Tewolde
Kelati exchanged marriage vows and God blessed both couples with two
beautiful kids: Yafet and Dena. Hiwot adored her children and her family.
Hiwot Kifle, passed away on November 12, 2022, in Las Vegas,
NV. Prior to this unfortunate incident, Hiwot has been receiving medical
treatment and her family’s support for over the past three years. Hiwot was
highly respected and loved by all her family and trusted friends.
Hiwot is survived by her husband Tewolde Kelati, her son
Yafet, her daughter Dena, and friends who love and miss her dearly. She
will be remembered as a genuinely selfless and good woman, full of love
and compassion, and always putting someone before herself.
As a family, we want to send a heartfelt thank you to all the

wishes, and support. You all have comforted us immensely and we
couldn’t have gotten through this difficult time without your support.
