Raymond Flartey, loving husband, father, grandfather, and Pop-Pop, passed away at home surrounded by loving family on 9/25/2022 following a long illness. He was 80 years old. Born in Morristown, NJ, Ray grew up in Mine Hill and graduated from Dover High School. Ray lived in Hopatcong for 27 years before relocating to Henderson, NV. Ray was a proud member of Pipefitter's Local 274 for more than 40 years until his retirement in 2004 and was a lifelong member of the Elks.

Ray is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years Lynne (Schmuhl), and 3 sons, Charles of Morris Plains, NJ, Michael (Kelly) of Kailua, HI, and Andrew (Katie) of Waimanalo, HI. Ray was the proud grandfather of Tommy, Lucy, Lyla, Jameson, and Jackson. Ray is also survived by his brother Roger (Naples, FL), many loving nieces and nephews, brothers-and sisters-in-law, and countless loving lifelong friends.

Private services will be held in Henderson, NV with a celebration of Ray's life to be held at a future date with family and friends in New Jersey.
