Rosary Patterson

July 12, 1970 — April 12, 2022

Rosary Patterson was the last born of nine children born on July 12, 1970, to Henry and Evelyn Lipscomb in Detroit, MI. Rosary joined Third New Baptist Church in her adolescent years. She received her education from David McKenzie Highschool and later received specialized training to become a Certified Nurse Assistant. On November 15, 1997, she married her husband Miles Patterson. Years later she gave birth to her firstborn Miles Patterson Jr., and then her daughter Camryn Patterson. Rosary had a witty sense of humor and a cheerful spirit. She loved music movies and conversation. Her positive energy and internal joy could light up a room. The love and support towards her family was unconditional. And her presence was a special gift to all whom she encountered.

Rosary was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Evelyn Lipscomb, her sisters Cynthia Burnett, Karen Cutler, and Kathy Hayes. Brother-in-law Kimble McDowell and niece Jennifer Lipscomb and baby Noah. Her legacy lives on through her husband Miles Patterson and her children Miles Patterson Jr., and Camryn Patterson. Her siblings Jeanie Lipscomb, Renee Lipscomb, John Lipscombm Kassandra McDowell, Susie, and Geoffrey Cragin and her beloved nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
